Honoring Emotion Through Art

Honoring Emotion Through Art

Centre Counseling Services and the Grace Doherty Library are collaborating on a Creative Expressions as Self-Care series.

The second program in this series is titled "Honoring Emotion through Art" and will focus on viewing and creating art as a way of processing emotions.  This is a program for everyone!  No previous experience necessary.

This workshop will take place on Monday, March 15 from 4:30pm-6:00pm.

With support from the Creative Commons Program, Human Resources  and the Grace Doherty Library, we will provide the book You Are an Artist: Assignments to Spark Creation by Sarah Urist Green to everyone who signs up here. (Zoom information will be sent to registered participants later.)

Joel Klepac, Crystal McPherson, and Karoline Manny will provide the workshop in mid-March while small group discussions will be facilitated by librarians, faculty, and staff. We encourage you to take this small step toward your own wellbeing and wholeness in the new year, and we will reach out with information on future programming in the series (music coming in April)!
